About cultivation of excessive ‘Aus paddy’ in the current season, Dr Razzaque said the government has taken precautionary measures to protect the Aus and Aman crops from the flood. The precautionary measures included preparation of alternative seed beds, regular weather monitoring and intensive communication with India.
