Regent Hospital’s Uttara, Mirpur branch offices sealed off
DHAKA, July 7, 2020 (BSS) – A mobile court of the Rapid Action
Battalion today sealed off the Regent Hospital’s offices located in
city’s Uttara and Mirpur areas for producing fake COVID-19 reports
without testing samples of the people and embezzling huge money
illegally during the Corona pandemic.
RAB-1 executive magistrate Sarwar Alam conducted the operation with
the help of an elite team of the force.

Bulbul said that they sealed off the offices of the hospital. However,
the hospital branches located at Uttara and Mirpur will remain open as
some patients are undergoing treatment there, he added.
Earlier on Monday, RAB raided the offices and seized unauthorized
Corona testing kits and a vehicle from the hospital owned by Mohammad
Sahed. Eight persons of the hospital were held in this regard.
RAB is preparing a case against about 15 people including chairman
of the hospital Mohammad Shahed and managing director Masud.
