RAB-CHEAT-ARREST (with picture)
Cheat held in Lalmonirhat
RANGPUR, July 5, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13
arrested an active member of an organised gang of cheats from Noyarhat
Bazar area in Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat district today.
“The arrested was Maidul Islam, 32, of village Kismat Nagarbandh in
Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat district,” said a press release.
A special team of RAB-13 from Rangpur city in a sudden raid
arrested the man with two mobile phone sets and three SIM cards.
During interrogation, the arrested man admitted that he along with
his cohorts had been introducing them as senior officials of
Bangladesh Army and already cheated serving army members by realising
about Taka 1.50 lakh from them through Bkash.
A case was filed to this end.
