ARREST-HEROIN
One held with 1.195 kg heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 5, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5 arrested an alleged illegal drug peddler with 1 kg 195 grams heroin from Sundarpur Bagdanga village in Sadar upazila this noon.
The arrested person is M Afsar Ali, 35, a resident of Tikrampur Modhyapara area Chapainawabganj municipality.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at the village and arrested Afsar with the heroin worth about Taka 1.19 crore, a RAB official said.
A case was filed in this connection with Chapainawabganj Sadar police station.
