CHATTOGRAM, July 05, 2020 (BSS) – Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) has taken initiative to plant 50,000 saplings in Chattogram Metropolitan area through tree planting program.
City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated the tree planting program on Sunday morning at the Municipal City Corporation Model High School ground in the city.
At this time he planted a mango sapling in the school field and handed over one sapling each to the students.
Mayor’s Private Secretary Abul Hashem, Chief Urban Planner AKM Rezaul Karim, Forest and Slum Development Officer Moinul Hossain Ali Chowdhury, Architect Abdullah Al Omar, Municipal High School Headmaster Shahedul Kabir and Ahmed Hossain among others addressed the function.
