Non-MPO teachers, staff get Tk 11.70 lakh grant in Magura
MAGURA, July 4, 2020 (BSS)- A grant of Taka 11.70 lakh was distributed among 270 teachers and staff of 29 non-MPO educational institutions of the district today at a function at Magura Sheikh Kamal Indoor Stadium.
Lawmaker of Magura-1 constituency Advocate Saifuzzaman Shikhar attended the function as the chief guest and handed over the checks worth Taka 11.70 lakh to the beneficiaries.
Magura Sadar Upazila Administration organized the function while Deputy Commissioner Ashraful Alam presided over it.
It was informed in the function that Taka nine lakh 90 thousand was distributed among 198 teachers and Taka one lakh 80 thousand was given to 72 employees of the 29 educational institutions of Magura sadar upazila from the funds of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
During the programme, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Abu Nasir Bablu, its Executive Officer Abu Sufian, Sadar Upazila Education Officer Mala Rani Biswas also spoke, among others.
