Two killed by electrocution in the capital
DHAKA, July 2, 2020 (BSS) – Two people were killed after being inadvertently electrocuted in Hazaribagh and Kadamtali areas of the capital on Wednesday.
The victims were identified as- Sumon, 42, son of Md Mobarak Hossain of Hazaribagh, and Rakib, 18, son of Muharram Miah of Kadamtali.
DMCH Police Outpost (in-charge) Inspector Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter saying both Sumon and Rakib were rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) at around 8pm and 9:30pm where the duty doctors pronounced them to be dead. The bodies have been kept in DMCH morgue for autopsy.
Two separate incidents have been reported to the concerned police station and legal action has been taken in this regard, added the official.
