Outgoing Norwegian envoy meets Speaker
DHAKA, July 1, 2020 (BSS) – Outgoing Norwegian Ambassador in Dhaka Sidsel Bleken today called on Speaker of the Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her residence here.
During the meeting, they discussed different bilateral issues and hoped that the existing relations between Bangladesh and Norway would strengthen further in the future, said an official handout.
Speaker said, the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and Norway is strong. Meanwhile, the speaker expected that the relationships will be strengthened in future.
Sidsel Bleken said that Bangladesh is a densely populated country. However, the coronavirus crisis is under control due to correct steps of the government. She also assured that Norway will continue its support to Bangladesh over the Coronavirus pandemic.
