BIRTAN joins national fruit fair
DHAKA, June 25, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Institute of Research and Training
on Applied Nutrition (BIRTAN) joined the National Fruit Tree Planting
Fortnight and National Fruit Exhibition.
The exhibition was held between June 22 and 24 while the fortnight
continue till July 6.
Marking the day, a colorful procession was brought out on June 22 from
Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban South Plaza to AKM Giasuddin Milky auditorium of Khamar
Bari here. BIRTAN officials and employees joined it.
Some nine government and 51 non-government organisations took part in the
fair.
As many as 70 kinds of mangoes and over 200 kinds of fruits were exhibited
in the fair. Visitors also collected chemical free fruits from the fair.
