Bangabandhu centenary implementation body mourns Mohsin’s death

Senior Secretary of the Defence Ministry Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury.
In a condolence message, committee chairman National Professor Rafiqul
Islam and officials of the committee office prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Senior Secretary of the Defence Ministry Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury
died of COVID-19 this morning. He was 57.
He breathed his last at 9:35 am while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital.
Mohsin Chowdhury had been ill since the first week of May and he was receiving treatment at home.
Later, the defence secretary was taken to the Combined Military Hospital and he was diagnosed with COVID-19 there. He was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital for two weeks where he breathed his last this morning, family sources said.
Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury is the younger brother of Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, Chief Coordinator of Bangabandhu’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee.
