SUNAMGANJ, June 27, 2020 (BSS) – At least two people have died as a passenger boat was drowned in the Kalni river near Ujandhal village at around 12:45 pm on its way to Dhal from Dirai on Saturday.
Among them, one of the victim is between the ages of 50-60 and the other is round about 12-13.
KM Nazrul, officer-in-charge of Derai Police Station, said the bodies of the two passengers have been recovered but their identities yet be confirmed and we are also trying to find out if any other person is missing in the boat sinking incident.
