Two bodies recovered in city

DHAKA, June 26, 2020 (BSS) – Police today recovered two bodies,
including a college student, from city’s Shyampur and Uttara areas,
police sources said.

The victims were — college student Taskir Ahmed Siam, 20, son of
Nizam Uddin, and Leguna Driver Shamsul Alam, 32.

The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Siam’s father Nizam Uddin told media that after taking breakfast
this morning, Siam locked the door of his room from inside of their
house at West Jurain under Shyampur thana.

After not getting any response for long, his family entered the room
after breaking open the door and saw he was hanging with a ceiling
fan.

He was later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty
doctor declared him dead.

Siam, hailed from Munshiganj district, is a student of higher
secondary level.

In another incident at sector-7 of Uttara West thana area, Leguna
Driver Shamsul Alam this morning fell down from a mango tree and was
seriously wounded. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital
where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

His village home is in Kutubdia under Cox’s Bazar District.
