EX-MP Nazrul Islam passes away
DHAKA, June 23, 2020 (BSS) – Former Member of Parliament and one of the organizers of the Liberation War, Professor ANM Nazrul Islam died of old age complications at his residence in the morning today.
He was 80, said an Awami League press release.
Nazrul left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Professor ANM Nazrul Islam.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
