PRAN-RFL donates protective gears to police, health workers in Ctg
DHAKA, June 22, 2020 (BSS) – Local business conglomerate, PRAN-RFL Group has distributed protective gears among police and health workers in Chattogram to combat COVID-19 pandemic.
Head of Corporate Brand at PRAN-RFL Group Nurul Afser on Sunday handed over the items, said a press release today.
Chattogram Divisional Commissioner ABM Azad and Additional Police Commissioner (Administration and Finance) Amena Begum at Chattogram Metropolitan Police received the items on behalf of their respective organizations.
Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group Kamruzzaman Kamal said “we have distributed surgical masks, PPE, hand gloves and hand sanitizers of Getwell brand among the police and health workers of Chattogram as part of our continued effort to fight against COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, PRAN-RFL group has set up an isolation unit at Amjad Khan Chowdhury Memorial Hospital in Natore to ensure treatment of Novel Coronavirus infected patients.
The group also donated corona sample collection booth, surgical masks, PPE, hand gloves and hand sanitizers to Director General of Health Services (DGHS) and 10 hospitals in Dhaka and Bhola.
In addition, PRAN-RFL has already provided food to 60,000 helpless and poor families under its “Pashe Asi Bangladesh” program.
