MYMENSINGH, June 22, 2020 (BSS) – Department of Agriculture Extension(DAE) here has imparted training among 570 farmers with enhanced knowledge and practices of modern agricultural technologies for boosting production of different crops.
The training began since June 3 in a series of sessions ended at Agriculture Training Centre in Muktagacha upazila today.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Faizul Islam Bhuiyan told BSS that as part of the training programme 3,00 farmers were imparted training with National Agricultural Technology Projects (NATP) ,60 on safe betel leaf , 150 on quiver crops production technologies, 30 on four crops cropping pattern and 30 on climate change.
When contacted Upazila Assistant Agriculture officer Swakat Alam and Rezaul Karim Faruque told BSS that, the DAE has already set up ten rain gaze machines atop all 10 Union Parisad Bhavan of Muktagacha upazila to know the weather report from grass root level.
