Monaco loan young Portuguese midfielder Gil Dias to Notts Forest
MONACO, June 24, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Monaco’s 21-year-old Portuguese midfielder Gil Dias is joining English Championship club Nottingham Forest on loan, the Ligue 1 side announced on Sunday.
The second tier English team has the option to buy at the end of the season.
Dias spent last season on loan in Italy where he made 27 appearances for Fiorentina, but the Serie A club opted not to retain him.
The Portuguese youth international joined Monaco in 2015 but has made only one league appearance for the club and has also had stints on loan at Varzim and Rio Ave in Portugal.
