Training for hajj devotees begins in Khulna
KHULNA, June 24, 2018(BSS) – A four-day long training for government and
private Hajj aspirants began at Boyra Women College auditorium here today.
Ministry for Religious Affairs, Khulna District Administration and
Divisional Islamic Foundation jointly organised the event.
Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Ziaur Rahman addressed the programme
as the chief guest while Director of Khulna Divisional Islamic Foundation
Shaheen Bin Zaman was in the chair.
Managing Director of West Zone Power Company Ltd (WOZOPADICO) Engineer
Shafiq Uddin, Principal of Boyra Government Women College Rowshon Akter,
President of Haji Kallyan Society Sayedur Rahman and Representative of the
Association of Hajj Agencies Bangladesh (HAAB) Mowlana Md Faruk Hossain
addressed the function as special guests while trainer of Khulna Imam Trainig
Academy Mowlana Md Rafiqul Islam delivered the welcome speech.
Speakers in the training programme said the present government is working
relentlessly for the welbeing of Hajj devotees.
Terming Hajj as one of the foundation of Islam, the speakers said solvent
people must perform the holy Hajj.
They also thanked the present government for such type of training
programme.
A total of 1,450 Hajj devotees are being provided training during the
programme.
