DHAKA, June 24, 2018 (BSS) – Food Minister Qamrul Islam today said Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina will head the poll-time government as there is no
scope for anybody else to get inducted in that administration, who have no
participation in the parliament.
“The next general election will be free, fair and acceptable one. We
want an election to be participated by all. But we don’t need any kind of
dialogue regarding the election. Court will decide whether BNP chairperson
Begum Khaleda Zia will be able to take part in the upcoming polls. We will
accept court’s decision,” he said.
The minister came up with the observations while addressing a function
organised on Sahapur Madrasa premises in Rohitpur union in Keraniganj this
morning.
Presided over by veteran Awami League leader and Freedom Fighter Nurul
Huda Master, the function was also addressed by Dhaka district Jubo League
president Shafiul Azam Khan Barkur, Jubo League central committee member
Eusuf Ali Chowdhury Selim, former district Awami League organising secretary
Abu Siddique and Rohitpur union parishad chairman Abdul Ali, among others.
