NARSINGDI, June 15, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 1079 persons have been diagnosed with novel coronavirus infection after tested samples of 4955 people in the six upazilas of the district.
Civil Surgeon Narsingdi Dr Mohammad Ibrahim Titan said 16 people have so far died of the disease till today .
The upazila wise infected patients are 736 in Sadar upazila,78 in Shibpur upazila, 93 in polash upazila, 39 in Monohardi upazila, 57 in Belabo upazila and 76 in Raipura upazila.
Civil Surgeon said upazila wise recorded death toll is- nine in Sadar upazila, two of Belabo upazila, two of Raipura Upazila , one of Polash upazila, one of Shibpurupazila, one in Monohardi upazila.
He also said 350 have recovered from the isolation centers and at present, 40 patients are ungergoing treatment in hospital isolation and 676 are in the home isolation in this district .
