DHAKA, June 15, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Awami League Executive Committee Member and former Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
He recalled the contribution of Kamran to development of Sylhet city and wellbeing of its people.
The former Sylhet city mayor breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka at 3:00am today.
Kamran had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since June 7.
