Speaker condoles death of Kamran
DHAKA, June 15, 2020 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed profound shock at the death of former Sylhet city mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran.
In a message of condolence, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Besides, Deputy Speaker Advocate Md Fazle Rabbi Miah, Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, and Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury Liton condoled the death of Kamran.
The former Sylhet city mayor breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka at 3am today.
Kamran had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since June 7.
