RAJSHAHI, June 14, 2020 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four suspected activists of the banned militant outfit Ansar Al Islam (AAI) from Kazipara area under Godagari upazila in the district early hours today.
According to the RAB sources, the arrested persons were identified as Suman Ali, 24, Abdur Rahman, 21, Hridoy Khan Parvej, 24, and Asraful Islam, 23.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid in the area and nabbed them while they were holding a hidden meeting for committing subversive activities at 2 am.
A case was recorded with Godagari Police Station in this connection and the arrested persons were handed over to the police this afternoon.
