PSA president mourns Abdullah’s death
DHAKA, June 14, 2020 (BSS) – President of Police Service Association (PSA) and Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Shafiqul Islam today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of State Minister for Religious Affairs and valiant freedom fighter Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah.
In a condolence message, he said Sheikh Md Abdullah has worked for wellbeing of the nation until his last breath following the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He was a tested warrior of Bangabandhu.
Office secretary of PSA and Deputy Commissioner RM Faizur Rahman issued the condolence message. The irreparable loss incurred at the demise of Sheikh Md Abdullah for Awami League as well as country will never be replenished, Shafiqul said.
The PSA president said the nation will always remember his contributions with deep respect.
He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
