Jabbar mourns Abdullah’s death
DHAKA, June 14, 2020 (BSS) – Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of State Minister for Religious Affairs Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah.
In a condolence message, he said valiant freedom fighter Abdullah, who has glorious political career, has played pivotal role in country’s war of independence as well as political arena.
Jabbar said the nation will always remember his contributions with deep respect.
The irreparable loss incurred at the demise of Sheikh Md Abdullah for Awami League as well as country will never be replenished.
The posts and telecommunications minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abdullah passed away late night yesterday at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital at age 74.
