Humayun condoles death of Sheikh Md Abdullah
DHAKA, June 14, 2020 (BSS) – Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of State Minister for Religious Affairs and 1971 Liberation War veteran Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
In a message of condolence, the industries minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Recalling Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah’s outstanding contribution to the country’s political arena with due respect, Humayun said at his death the nation lost a tested politician.
In another message, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of State Minister for Religious Affairs Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
Sheikh Abdullah, also religious affairs secretary of Awami League, died of old-age complications at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka last night at the age of 74.
