Kamrangichar market fire under control
DHAKA, June 13, 2020 (BSS) – The fire that broke out at Rony Market in Kamrangichar area has been brought under control in the early hours of today.
Duty officer of fire service headquarters Russell Skhider said the fire originated in the basement on the ground floor of the six-storey Rony Market around 11 pm on Friday.
A total of eight units of firefighters brought the fire under control by 2:45am.
However, no casualties were reported in the fire. The official said the damage caused by the fire was about Tk 5 lakh.
