One held with firearms, ammo in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 12, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5 arrested an alleged illegal arms trader with two shooter guns and one bullet from Kashiabari village under Shibganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
The arrested person is Shree Ujjal Kumar Bifal, 27, a resident of Khosalpara under Gomostapur upazila of the district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid at the village at around 2.30 pm and arrested Ujjal with the arms and ammunition, a RAB official said.
A case was filed with Shibganj Police Station in this connection.
