Tk 8,089cr proposed for water resources
DHAKA, June 11, 2020 (BSS) – The government has earmarked Taka 8,089 crore for the Water Resources Ministry in the proposed budget for 2020-2021 fiscal year.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed the allocation while placing the budget for fiscal 2020-21 in the Parliament here today with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
The government had allocated Taka 7,932 crore for the ministry in the proposed budget for fiscal 2019-20, while its revised budget in the current fiscal was Taka 8,770.
