DHAKA, June 10, 2020 (BSS) – Vice-President of Jhalokathi District Awami League Dr Md Anwar Hossain passed away early this morning while undergoing treatment at a city hospital.
He was 63, family sources said.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death, said a press release.
Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Dr Md Anwar Hossain.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family, the release added.
