The arrestees were identified as Ruhul Amin alias Mallik, 38, son of Md Taher Ali hailing from Icchadighi village of Sakhipur upazila in Tangail district and his cohort Mostafizur Rahman, 63, son of Md Iddris, resident of Pallabi area of the city.

Major Sheikh Nazmul Arefin told BSS that a team of the elite force nabbed them from the aforesaid area around 11:30 pm.

RAB also seized 40 sets of photocopies of extremist books, two computer’s central processing units (CPUs), one pen drive, 7 SIM cards and five mobile sets from their possession on the spot, he added.
