DHAKA, June 9, 2020 (BSS) – Valiant freedom fighter and former member of Mymensingh district unit of Awami League Shafiqul Amin Khasru passed away at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital during undergoing treatment there today.
He was 74, said a press release here.
Shafiqul, also former chairman of Mashakhali union parishad of Gafargaon Upazila of Mymensingh district, left behind his wife, three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Shafiqul Amin.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
