DHAKA, June 23, 2018 (BSS) – UN Under-Secretary-General (SG) for
Peacekeeping Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix and 4 other high officials will
visit here tomorrow as part of four Asian countries tour.
During the visit, they are scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister,
Foreign Minister, Chief of three forces and Inspector General of Bangladesh
Police, said an ISPR press release here today.
The purpose of Lacroix’s visit is to monitor the preparations, training and
overall activities of peacekeepers.
The delegation would leave Dhaka on June 26.
