DHAKA, June 8, 2020 (BSS) – Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud
Humayun today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Shahan
Ara Abdullah, wife of parliament member and former Jatiya Sangsad
chief whip Abul Hasnat Abdullah.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder also expressed deep
shock and sorrow at the death of Shahan Ara Abdullah.
Shahan Ara, an eyewitness to the August 15 in 1975 carnage, breathed
her last at around 11.30 last night at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib
Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital here.
