DHAKA, June 8, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Shahan Ara Abdullah, wife of parliament member and former Jatiya Sangsad chief whip Abul Hasnat Abdullah.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Shahan Ara, an eyewitness to the August 15 in 1975 carnage, breathed her last at around 11.30 last night at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital here.
