15 held with hemp, wine in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 23, 2018 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB)-5 arrested 15 drug peddlers and addicts and recovered 1,000 litres of
local wine and 1.7 kg of hemp in anti-drug drives on Friday evening.
RAB said the elite force conducted massive drives at different places of
the district from 4.30 pm till 7.30 pm and nabbed 15 people for their alleged
involvement in illegal drug business and taking drugs.
Later, the arrested were awarded imprisonment on different terms through
mobile courts and were sent to the jail custody.
