Bangla Motor road crush: Bihongo Paribahan driver sent to jail
DHAKA, June 07, 2020 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today sent to jail the driver of a Bihongo Paribahan bus that crushed two persons to death in capital’s Bangla Motor area on June 4.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqul Islam sent driver Jafar Mollah to jail, scraping a plea for his bail.
The court came up with the order as police produced him before the court after the end of his one-day remand.
The bus (Dhaka-Metro- Ba-14-1990) driven by Jafar Mollah crushed a motorcycle rider and a pedestrian at Bangla Motor area on June 4 morning, leaving the two spot dead.
The two victims are hawker Md Belayet, 52, and courier service staff Maksudur Rahman, 42.
