DHAKA, June 5, 2020 (BSS) – As part of government continuous effort of distributing relief during the current corona virus crisis, about 1.50 crore families have received the relief assistance from the government across the country.
“The government so far has distributed 1,63,017 tonnes of rice out of 2,01,417 tonnes which have benefitted 1.44,51,581 families throughout the country”, said an official release quoting the data provided by 64 district administrations.
The government so far allocated Taka 116 crore in cash…where Taka 76.37 crore have been distributed among 3,85,90,443 individuals, it said.
The government has distributed baby food of Taka 20,29,76,408 among 13,56,198 people against the total allocation of Taka 23.94 crore, the PID handout added.
