Special team visits corona infected cops at hospitals
DHAKA, June 5, 2020 (BSS)- A special team, led by Additional Commissioner and chief of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Monirul Islam, visited Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital (CPH) here today to know the conditions of corona-infected policemen.
The team also visited various units of temporary medical center installed at DMP’s traffic barracks, Detective Training School, Willes Little Flower School and College and Rajarbagh Police Lines School and College in the city.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Mohammad Shafiqul Islam are constantly enquiring the physical condition of COVID-19 infected policemen. They also urged the on-duty doctors to provide necessary healthcare service to them.
DMP Deputy Commissioner of Police Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to the media today.
