Infection with Covid case reduces in Comilla
DHAKA, June 5, 2020 (BSS) – The number of infection with coronavirus
case has been reducing in Comilla.
“The number of patient infected with Covid reduces gradually in
Comilla as in the last 24 hours only seven cases were reported,”
Comilla District Coronavirus Infection Prevention Committee Focal
Person and District Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Md. Shahadat Hossain told
BSS.
According to the Cumilla District Civil Surgeon’s Office, a total of
11,499 samples have been tested in the district so far and 9,640
results were received. Of these, 1281 were reported as positive for
coronavirus.
Of the infected seven persons, five were from Chandina, one from
Homna and two were from Debidar.
On the other hand, 186 people including two from Debidwar recovered.
A total of 39 people died of the lethal virus in the district.
