Three held for selling drugs at higher prices in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, June 5, 2020 (BSS) – The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three pharmacy owners for selling drugs at higher prices here today.
The arrested are Md Shahjahan, 60, owner of RC Drug House at EPZ, Akhter Hossain, 49, owner of Messers Gauchia Pharmacy and Rabiul Alam, 33, owner of Messrs Masuda Medicine Shop.
RAB said the arrested persons were illegally stockpiling essential medicines and selling them at higher prices.
Separate cases have been filed against them at EPZ and Bandar police stations.
RAB-8 Assistant Director (media) said Mahmudul Hasan Mamun said RAB will continue drive against illegal stockpiling of drugs and selling drugs at extra prices.
