DHAKA, June 4, 2020 (BSS) – Two people including a motorbike rider were killed and another one injured when a city bus ran them over in the city’s Banglamotor area this morning.
“A city bus of Bihongo paribahan ran over a motorbike rider and a pedestrian as its driver lost control over the steering when it was crossing Banglamotor intersection at around 11am,” said Assistant Commissioner (Traffic South) of Ramna Zone Refatul Islam.
Both of them died on the spot. The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The bodies were send to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Police arrested the bus driver –Jafar Mollah from the spot.
