2 held with 1.9-kg heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, June 4, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 1 kg 900 grams of heroin from Char Islamabad village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila early today.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Amirul Islam, 30 of Lakkhinarayanpur Gazipara under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila and Md. Dulal Mia, 35 of the same area.
RAB said, acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area around 3 am and arrested the duo with the heroin.
Later they were handed over to the local police with filing a case.
