Navy provides PPE to Barguna hospital
DHAKA, June 3, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Navy (BN) provided different types of medical and safety equipment to Borguna Sadar Hospital today as part of providing assistance following the out-break of novel Coronavirus.
Khulna Naval Area Commander Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa handed over the materials to the civil surgeon of Borguna Sadar Hospital, said a press release.
These are–100 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), 100 goggles, 500 masks, 800 sets hand gloves, 10 automatic shoe dispensers, five non-contact infrared thermometers, hand sanitizers and other disinfected equipment.
Since March 25 a naval contingent has been deployed in the fight against Covid-19 in Barguna to help local administrations with medical support, enforcement of precautionary measures and distribution of relief.
