206 more test positive for Covid-19 in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, June 3, 2020 (BSS) – A total of 206 more people were tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) at three COVID-19 laboratories in Chattogram district after testing 621 samples in last 24 hours.
Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi told BSS that of the total infected persons, 87 were found Covid-19 positive after testing 231 samples at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 59 more new corona patients were identified at BITID, Chattogram after testing 252 samples during the same period.
Besides, 59 more people were tested positive at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) after testing 111 samples, the civil surgeon said.
Among the 206 new corona victims, 119 are the residents of Chattogram city and rest 87 are residents of different upazilas of the district.
With today’s infections, the total numbers of COVID-19 positive cases rose to 3397 only in Chattogram district till today.
One corona patient was also detected at Cox’s Bazar Medical College Hospital lab after testing seven samples of Lohagara upazila of the district in last 24 hours, Dr Rabbi said.
