500 distressed families get rice in Rangpur city
RANGPUR, June 2, 2020 (BSS) – Rangpur City Corporation (RpCC) distributed
ten kilograms of rice among
500 jobless and distressed families each as a gift from Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina in Ward No-27 of the metropolis this afternoon.
Mayor of Rangpur Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa distributed the rice at a
function at Pirpur Government Primary School ground following health safety
guidelines in presence of members of Bangladesh Army.
The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief allocated the rice and
Rangpur district administration provided assistance to the RpCC in
distributing the rice to assist the jobless and distressed people in the wake
of the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Acting Administrative Officer of RpCC Nayeemul Haque, City Councilor
Monwara Sultana Moly and other officials of RpCC attended the function.
