Train communications to resume in Jamalpur tomorrow
JAMALPUR, June 2, 2020 (BSS)- Train communications on Dhaka-Jamalpur-Dewanganj route will resume tomorrow after being suspended more than two months back in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic across the country .
According to Jamalpur Railway sources, two pair of trains -Testa intercity and Brahmaputra intercity will ply from Dhaka-Jamalpur-Dewanganj station following health safety guidelines and rule, issued by the government .
Jamalpur Railway Station Master, Sheikh Uzzal Mahmud said earlier 13 pair of trains ply on Dhaka-Jamalpur-Dewanganj and Dhaka-Jamalpur-Tarakandi routes daily.
He said train services remained suspended since March 24 this year owing to corona virus pandemic .
All preparations have been taken to run the trains in compliance with the health safety guidelines of the government.
