Drug peddler held with yaba in Jamalpur
JAMALPUR, June 2, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a
drive arrested a drug peddler along with 1460 pieces of contraband yaba tablets
in Dewanganj upazila in the district on Monday.
The arrested drug peddler was identified as Md Hazrat Ali,25, son of Md Amir
Hamza at village Zoanerchar in Dewanganj upazila of the district.
According to Jamalpur RAB-14 sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of the
elite force raided in the Dangdhara area in the upazila on Roumari of Kurigram
district and Dewanganj road and arrested him with the yaba tablets.
A case was registered with Dewanganj Model Police Station in this regard.
