DHAKA, June 1, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of renowned industrialist of the country Abdul Monem.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Monem, chairman and managing director of Abdul Monem Ltd, a leading industrial group, breathed his last at Dhaka’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH) around 10 am on Sunday at the age of 85.
Monem was earlier admitted to Square Hospitals on May 17 after suffering from a stroke. He was later shifted to the CMH as his condition deteriorated.
