Khalid condoles Industrialist Monem’s death
DHAKA, May 31, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of renowned Industrialist and Chairman of Abdul Monem Group, Abdul Monem Khan who died at a city hospital.
In a message of condolence, Khalid said, Abdul Monem Khan was a prominent business man of the country. His contribution to the development of the industrial sector will always be remembered.
The State Minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abdul Monem breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka this morning.
He left behind his wife, two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
