Law minister condoles death of Abdul Monem Khan
DHAKA, May 31, 2020 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today expressed profound shock at the death of one of country’s top industrialists and Monem Group chairman Abdul Monem Khan.
The law minister in a condolence message said, “Abdul Monem Khan was an eminent businessman of the country. His contributions towards the development of the country’s industrial sector will always be remembered.”
Anisul prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deep sympathy to the members of bereaved family, an official release said.
Monem breathed his last at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital at 10:00 am today.
He will be buried at his village in Brahmanbaria.
